pianow the imperial has a bug and that is when you depress the sus pedal the lowest velocities/dynamics disappear and playing soft sounds like mp range and it doesn't go any lower
I think I know what you mean in the VSL Bosendorfer Imperial. Using pedal pass through in the PianoToLife app indeed makes it difficult to achieve a low velocity range as the sound becomes louder as you press the pedal down. However, switching to the “host pedal” in the app keeps the volume consistent even when I press the pedal down.
pianow so i'm interested if this can turn the sustain-down samples off and generate the sustain-down effect on its own
I also notice that the Sus and Sost controls are disabled inside VSL Synchron Piano when I use the “host pedal” option. This likely disables the sustain-down samples, but subject to confirmation by Olivier.
However, I am using pass through pedal at the moment with my N1X as I noticed a bug that I reported above.
pianow can i use this as a plugin inside my daw or what?
It works as an instrument in Ableton Live, but it also loads the VST plugin with it.
