CyberGene , how do you compare Ivory 3 in terms of playability and pedaling to the Modern D?
In terms of pedaling and resonances, I enjoyed it on Ivory III, but maybe it’s because of my pedal, the midi values are messy sometimes.
Dynamic range and playability wise, I much prefer Modern D. The contrast between soft and loud samples is wide enough that I can do phrasing, and intentional dynamics. I feel the German D is like a well trained animal, responds well, polite and pleasing. Modern D is like a wild animal, its natural and gifted potential means that it can do great things.
