Pianissimo
Bluthner sounds the best. That Fazioli probably was a so so one from the early period. ah no, it's 2020 actually.

zeldalink I noticed that it could be modified more easily. Just add one line of "<master>" as follows.
After this modification, the description of noise becomes the 5th "<master>" and does not depend on the state of the pedals. Conversely, before the modification, it was part of the 4th "<master>"(if both pedals are down).
I don't know if the resulting sound is appropriate for a piano or not. I don't know much about real pianos.

<master>
<group> //Release Dampers
volume=-20
ampeg_attack=.005 ampeg_decay=60 ampeg_sustain=10 ampeg_release=0.8
....
zeldalink My apologies. I thought it was an easy and good idea. But the half damper did not works with the previous modification. To solve, I think, all 4 "<master>" need to include the description noise related.
Pianissimo Indeed. The Blüthner is the best.
zeldalink which release are you referring to?
Sofia_MZ I confirmed reproduction with the following SFZ.
CV_Grand_Piano-2.0.zip/CV_Grand_Piano_with_noise-2.0-BETA.sfz
The problem is that the noise is only while both pedals are down. Personally, I only use noiseless SFZ and do not need a solution. I was modifying the famous Salamander for myself and noticed this problem.
zeldalink Thanks. I will look into it and fix it in the 2.1 release which is due soon.
Great! But please do not work too hard.
I've downloaded it to try and I have to say I'm suspicious.
Sofia_MZ Sorry for the many times. To avoid tedious work, I think one way is to keep sfz simple. For example, a user who are not interested in noise, same as before, play one SFZ (without noise). Other hand, a user who interested in noise, using DAW, mix one sfz ( without noise ) and another one ( only noise ). In this case, sfz ( only noise ) is simple like this.
From the point of view of hobbying with the scripts you may be right.
But for those who just want to play using the standalone Sforzando (or other) player, your suggestion would introduce a problem: these people would never be able to play the "full" (with noise) pianos.
So all in all, I'd say @Sofia_MZ 's approach is spot on.
Cheers and happy playing,
HZ
HZPiano Yes. I was not sure if I should have reported that bug.
Is there a new, working link for these piano libraries?
Thanks!

Yeah, it's called Pianoteq. 🤣
David B Yeah, it's called Pianoteq.
David, I believe Sofia sampled them pianos ‘round Italy with the help of some of our horny patrons….
For the record:
I never participated in such sampling sessions, but I’ve heard that Sofia & Friends sampled them pianos real good! 😆
tjr Sophia, you're bored again?
Pete14 David, I believe Sofia sampled them pianos ‘round Italy with the help of some of our horny patrons….
Sofia was a pioneer in a patriarchally dominated sampling world. She not only helped advance the cause of women, but she also buoyed the spirits of more men than VSL and VILabs put together. 🍆🤣
😆
tjr It's a fraud. I'm calling it for what it is. It's Pianoteq, basically. So don't buy into it, both literally and figuratively.
Someone registers to the forum and 1h later posts first time in 'Sophia pianos' topic to revive it. Guys, don't you see it? Am I the only one suspicious? When 'Sophia' was active here, there were many profiles registered just to post in 'her' thread.
