Why do you tease us with such ambiguity, “it was not bad”?
It’s almost as if you’re saying it’s actually bad!
Give us the truth, we can handle it, and if Yamaha has indeed dropped the ball on this gem called the NU1X with an unworthy replacement, we will make certain that the whole of earth finds out, and holds Yamaha accountable for such a betrayal!
If it turns out the NU1X-A is indeed a worthy contender, then we shall celebrate in a kumbaya state of exaltation, but in the meantime, the jury is out, and ambiguity cannot find its way into the final verdict…..
P.S.
Do we know if Yamaha’s top honcho has been replaced? because that could explain any changes in philosophy, from: “we pride in making great instruments,” to: “we couldn’t care less about our customers, and the bottom line is all that concerns us.”
God help us all if a “Tim Cook” has taken over Yamaha; because that will mean years of stagnation, rising prices, little innovation, and even, the total annihilation of iconic products like the beloved NU1X!
