I assume you would not be so rude if your momâs name was âYomama,â so Iâll give you the benefit of the doubt!
Yes, she was named Yomama, my mom(a), and whilst she wasnât the greatest mom(a), I still thank her for giving birth to my huge head!
Now, if I may further digress (just a bit):
I am a little baffled by Yamahaâs latest âstrategyâ to release the cheaper models first (NU1X, P-225, P-S 500, etc.); I was under the assumption that the ânormalâ way of business was to release the top models first, and then trickle down to the more affordableâŠâŠwhat gives?
Still, I maintain, it would be a mistake to leave the N1/3X untouched, and whilst some argue that these instruments already have âtwo sensors,â and that the NU1X was simply due for another sensor, itâs the fact that the NU1XA has Yamahaâs newest, state-of-the-art sensors that will make âthe elephantsâ seem obsolete!
Keep in mind that Yamahaâs been using the âoldâ (optical) sensors since the GranTouch, so itâs been a long time in the making (the new sensors), so I donât believe they wouldâve made this change if not warranted by true advances
IMHO,
Yomama!đ
