Yes, I am baffled by this, and I wonder if it’s a software issue (as mentioned by the reviewer), because the added sensor was supposed to correct the loud-note problem.
To be honest, I’d also read somewhere ‘round the internet that the loud note was still present, but I didn’t pay it much attention; however, both “reviewers” seem to point out that it happens rarely, yet still, this is unacceptable!
Regarding CG’s beloved N1X, I, too, loved this instrument, and given the right circumstances (especially when the N1XA comes out), and the right price, I’d buy it. I truly felt it was miles ahead of the N2, and despite having the same action, it felt smoother/easier to play than the N2 (which felt sluggish).
I’m still not convinced by the new sensors, and I fear the N1XA might be a lesser instrument than the current N1X….
