SouthPark For the P-525, which is also a yammy product, I confirm that the head-phone output power is much lower than the one for the P-515. This has been noticed by quite a number of other people. Not sure why that happened. I think whoever was responsible for that has probably got the 'M.O.' already by now. aka marching you-know-what.
Hmm, I wonder, is there a pattern here?
I felt the P-525 was “compromised” as compared to the almighty P-515 in the “sound” department; and ultimately found the action too light, and the black keys too slippery for me…..
Now, I’m hearing about the NU1X-A not quite “delivering,” and I wonder, is there a pattern here?
What next, mess up the upcoming CLP-8XX in the name of saving a few bucks?
If this is a result of current economic trends, poor sales/profits, why not compromise on lower-entry products, and simply postpone releasing high-end products that carry the weight of Yamaha’s reputation?
The AvantGrand is not just another digital, but rather a unique instrument that showcases Yamaha at its best, and messing up this line up would be a grave mistake that will have a rippling effect throughout the rest of their products.
Already I’ve heard a few too many negative “opinions” on this NU1X-A; whereas, I mostly heard great things about the NU1X; other than the loud note (which was purportedly “fixed” with a firmware update).
I still hope that it’s all a “misunderstanding,” and Zanoni is no more than a whining Karen, but if it turns out that he, and others, like Eddie, are correct about this, I might be forced to jump ship; but where do I jump to, surely, not Kawai?
