….but then…. there’s the appeal of something much smaller, not as loud, and less demanding; and for some people the “compromise” is more-than-justified…..
Now, is the NV12 a bit overpriced? Yes! and perhaps it didn’t quite check all the boxes (the jury is still out), but it is a beautiful machine with a good action minus the hassle of a temperamental acoustic.
Let’s see what Yamaha has under their sleeves before we jump to any conclusions, but I’ll say it again, the future belongs to the “digital” (and modeling)…..
