Utku_Piano
if i may, contact vsl people for help, the soft imp shouldn't be like that at all, it's a 2gb vst with 5 velocity layers and one mic position, anyway the vilabs modern series is quite optimized, i don't see any problem,
i only have the modern u at the moment but i personally don't expect d & u to be so different in terms of cpu usage, and even if they were, i have everything turned on and maxed out on my modern u and it barely uses 10-12 % of my cpu (only when i reach very high polyphonies with lots of pedalings)
the great thing about vilabs pianos is that you can turn on/off the features that you do/don't need
so you can save a lot of resources while playing something that doesn't need.. say una corda for example… or the noises, the half pedal samples and such
