GALAXY INSTRUMENTS (galaxy-instruments.com)
Galaxy Instruments is a collective of freelance engineers and programmers based in Cologne, Germany. We strive to develop interesting and inspiring virtual instruments and push the boundries of what is possible in the world of sampled-based instruments. Innovation is a decisive aspect in our production approach and a large portion of our philosophy. We seek to produce instruments, that solve workflow problems for musicians and composers, inspire with sound and enable to create music more fluently.
Over the years, Galaxy Instruments has developed a strong partnership with Native Instruments as our distributor and partner throughout the production process. With the world's leading manufacturer of software and hardware for computer-based audio production on our side, our instruments are widely used and loved by musicians, composers, producers and sound designers from all over the globe.
So, GI and NI are two different companies.
Also I mistook Galaxy Studio for Galaxy Instruments.LoL.
THE STUDIO.
With its 330-square-meter room and eight-meter ceiling height, the main hall at Galaxy Studios in Belgium was the ideal location for capturing these instruments with a surround setup of microphones. In addition to having immaculate acoustic qualities, the entire studio complex is built on springs to ensure that any outside interference is literally nonexistent. In fact, with only 14 dBA of environmental noise, this room is the most quiet recording space of this size in the world.
I saw info like this several times: "I wasn’t aware they were still doing recordings at Galaxy. Almost exactly a year ago (late November ’23) the studio was declared bankrupt, put up for sale and its entire staff was layed off. But perhaps the ‘Claire’ sampling sessions date from before that saddest of sad days." from VI-C member re-peat.
Therefore, Claire and EZkeys Orchestral Grand were not done in the same place. Case closed for me.
