David Lai i’ve been playing it every day now, it really sets a very high bar for them. I don’t know how they are going to top this!
I can believe it, and coming from you that is very high praise. The demos sound amazing. In any case, I've already purchased it and plan to download this evening when I get home from work.
Will report back once I've had a chance to give it a good run through!
HZPiano Hey, what's going on? Am I missing something?
What an exciting month. First the Studiologic Stage D (German) and now VI Labs D (American). I'm listening to the hour long demo video right now. Sounds fantastic.
@David Lai I'm going to listen to your demos as well. You were a bit of a rascal keeping this from us. 😀
I want to take advantage of the intro pricing, but I just got back from a trip that I'm recouping the cost from. We'll see what happens.
God Bless,
David
jdg78 I'm sure you'll be quite happy with it. I've been spending time with it in order to create the demo and curve (with help), and more is on the way. I want to make this accessible to others like me, which is the next focus.
David B You were a bit of a rascal keeping this from us
Haha, David, I had no choice. I needed to keep this tightly sealed until the time is right!!!
Also, you know something would have happened after I recorded a couple of demos for Modern U 4 years ago. 🙂
HZPiano I got it afterwards, HZ. 🙂 Thanks! Now I should spread the news far and wide.
And NO, before Pete14 decides to trash the party, I'm not working for VI Labs. Rather, I was asked by them for demos. I'm a customer just like you.

VI Labs typically has a 30% off "Holiday Sale" and sometimes also a Black Friday sale.

Glad they had the good sense to ask you, David.
Your demos are stunning.
(And I've lost track of how many companies Peter thinks I'm shilling for 😉 )
Jane Thank you, Jane! Yeah, I was a bit surprised why they would ask me, a basic nobody for demos. But I guess I do have something to offer afterall.
David Lai But I guess I do have something to offer afterall.
You sure do! That Mozart was a knock-out!
David Lai before Pete14 decides to trash the party
there's a "ignore" button that works really well😂😂
Wow! Far as I know, No Single VSTi piano publisher has demoes of the quality your provide them with!
And finally, demoes that really are about the piano… and no other fuss, fluff or stuff.
Well done you and VI Labs!
Cheers,
HZ
PS How am I going to fund this license*), I've been investing rather heavily in the revival of my photography passion lately… Hmmmm. Will Require Thought.
*) Plus a VPC-1… 😲
QuasiUnaFantasia You sure do! That Mozart was a knock-out!

QuasiUnaFantasia Thank you!!! I really wanted this to be a raw performance. So excuse the wrong notes… And just hear the piano and how it reacts to my fingers. I'd say, pretty good for a VST.
First of all, bringing logic to a party drunk with “emotions” does not make Pete a party-pooper; however, I will steer clear from this here party, so as to not take another beating (there’s only so much a man can take).
Before I see myself out, I will say one thing:
It’s interesting that VI-Labs seems proud of the fact that their resonances are “100% sampled based; no modeling or synthesis used;” because, if anything, it seems like the middle-ground nowadays is to “mix” samples with modeled resonances. I do wonder how this VST would sound with Pianoteq providing the resonances (as a plug in)?
P.S.
In the spirit of keeping things civil, I apologize for briefly bringing Pianoteq (resonances) into your party, and please, do go on with the celebrations….. 🎉
Thank you, @David Lai . Just purchased the Modern D. Thanks to VILabs! 👍
jenpal I hope you like it! I finally have found an experience like I was playing the pianos at Auer Hall and Parker Concert Hall.
