all acoustic pianos, except modern uprights are kind of ugly. it's an unfortunate phallic-truth.
they've refused to advance the form factor, and so here we are 200 years later saddled with old unaesthetic wooden boxes.
the whale piano looks alright, but only if you like whales.
the crystal one is markedly better looking, but it scuffs too easily to be practical.
sound side of things, Digital pianos with stable plastic spine actions are far superior.
