Ok. It's not new, but new to me. Arrived 2 days ago. It's a 1978 Grotrian 110, well cared after but regularly used. It is in good shape and I purchased it including Damp Chaser system. My trusted technician will come in 3 weeks to make a detailed examination, and make it sound good whatever is necessary to do. Yes, it needs some job to be done (tuning, hammer shaping, regulatuon, who knows what else). It already sounds extremely good.
By far its the best piano I ever owned and one of the best I ever played. Even detuned and unvoiced it shows its spectacular (considering size, of course) sound properties. Bass is amazing (for size).
Yes, it's a small and popular piano. I sold my Petrof in April and was looking for a new piano. So this one came on ebay. I got it for whole 57 euros. Plus 250 transportation.
I cannot wait for it to be prepared. BTW, I am amazed how well such a small piano is designed and produced, with quality materials and attention to detail. There's a reason you pay a lot for a Grotrian.
Ok, stop talking, let you this (not yet done visually) sort-of beauty. I love it. If it had 10 cm more, that would be my end game piano. Unfortunately the price rise between 110 and 120cm Grotrians is not bearable for me now.
