It’s a new ‘hybrid’ action with some wood (akin to NWX, PHA-50, etc).
I do stand a bit intrigued; even if it turns out the new Celvi ain’t so smart; because it does have 8 speakers, and the cabinet seems ‘decent-looking,’ and the action, whilst probably not “smart”, might be able to compete against the status quo…..
Now, some have claimed the pivots are short, but I don’t believe we have official confirmation on this, and other than Casio saying “it’s a grower, not a shower,” we won’t know for sure until someone shows us (nekid pictures).
I wonder if the new Celvi is now meant to compete with the likes of Clavinova and LX; therefore, leaving room for a hybrid (replacing the GP) to compete with the AvantGrand and Novus?
