This recent discussion made me realize that Pianoclak is most likely a men-only forum so far.
I'm wondering how that could be?
There are so many female pianists around and I can't see any gender barrier to the instrument.
Music schools are crowded by female students (probably far more than males) and yet I could not recognize any on this forum (neither on PW as far as I can remember)
Presuming that we are all driven by the same passion for the piano, I wonder that maybe the forum format is the barrier.
What do you think about it? Are we, certainly unwillingly, shy away female players from our conversations?
Is there anything we could do in order to improve global participation?
Just wondering about what I feel quite awkward.
