Chances are you already have a pair of Sony ZX110 and they sound great. And believe it, new headphones=new piano. But we know today you don't need to spend a lot to find great headphones, like the Superlux 681 for example. So what to choose? I had to replace my SonyZX310, which are already great and they died after 5 years. So I needed to search a new pair, and had to read a lot. These is a post to help you guys, because the choices are endless, and 99% of youtube reviews are a waste of time, they always repeat the same thing on and on, something like "These headphones are great but not great. The clarity is amazing but not amazing. They are well balanced but not very balanced." In short they try to be nice and polite. Heck, the amazon reviews are more helpful at least. Anyway, I was looking for something light weight. You know, normally the bigger the headphones the better the sound, but the heavy weight on your head is another factor to deal with. So I tried my luck after reading good things about them on Amazon, and bought the JLab Studio, wired. They are as light as the Sony ZX, but they even sound better. So a real big thumbs up from me, they are just £20. Because of their light weight they get used all the time, on the piano, computer, etc. They sound great for everything, every genre, great clarity, they don't have a boosted bass (that fad is over). The only thing you need to watch is the cable length, is not very long. And the jack is not going to accept easily any adaptor for a bigger jack, I tried 3 adaptors and the sound of the headphones became rubbish. So as long as you use the cable without adaptor you will be fine.
