SouthPark kawafanboi in the coming apocalypse, this grease will be worth more than a 401k. hahaha!!! If somebody dares to penetrate into my underground bunker and touches that grease …….
SouthPark They can take the food and take the water. But if they touch that grease, it's going to end in ……. tears. Maybe my own tears. Us good sorts usually let them have it hehe. I mean really let them have it. Not 'let them have it'.
Mash n-player I am still confused about where to buy the yamahas one. Not that there is someone faking their products :/ I will look and go through the web again… The oeiginal yamaha lubricant is the right way i guess c:
SouthPark I'm going to be biting my own bullet later and try molykote 44 light. But for those that find the advertised molykote G-1006Y or even G-1066Y questionable …. as in authenticity, then the molykote manufacturer/reps could certainly help to have the last word on that.
MacMacMac Mash I am still confused about where to buy the yamahas one. I gave the address and phone number in a post, above ... 11 days ago. That's Yamaha's parts depot in California. Are you in the US?
SouthPark Even though G-1006Y information isn't available online at the Dupont site, it is now confirmed that G-1006Y is truly produced by Dupont. Molykote G-1006Y is a real-deal item from Dupont. A Dupont representative kindly confirmed it.
SouthPark SouthPark I'm going to be biting my own bullet later and try molykote 44 light. Choose a 'card' - any card heheh. As there was some recent talk at the 'OPP' about key mechanism grease etc --- just updating my latest choices when the time comes for the grease/oil change. I'm most likely going to be using the '44 light' for a future self-servicing session. Not yet though - as there's no clunks/squeaks/tightening up or anything wrong so far after a few years. Touch wood (and once again - 'NWX' wood).
