Here Ivory 3 quick improvisation audio demo .flac : (only side A mics)

i will don't share the recorded midi files of this quick demo improvisation, because i think you can't compare virtual piano with a midi files : Velocity error and Pianist don't play the same depend on the feelings of the virtual Piano under fingers….

Ivory 3 ambiance reverb is only at 3, lower than default presets, to hear the real Piano.

Some equa inside Ivory, to have the Steinway magical Bell.

I think you will hear the nice staccato and repeated keys, and great dynamics.

It's better than midi demos and their website demos.

It's very playable after some changes in default presets and some EQ inside Ivory 3, for example 🇦

I love this VST/AU/Standalone Piano. work very well on MAC M1/M2/Mx…….. Silicon Native.

It behave like a real Piano under fingers. But i use extra resonant Soundbard 2 at -6dB, i find the default clean soundboard in not real in defaults presets. don't understand this choice.

The new MAC mini are incredible for audio. never go back to PC….

Ivory 3 : good and playable like a real Piano. Playable like Pianoteq 8 but with a real Piano sampled sound.

OlivierW lovely sound . Definitely the Ivory signature ( I started to use American D ) when it was released. But I still hear the same ‘little’ issue about the decay length of the notes when sustain is not used . On a true D , decay is much longer . Obviously it is a tremendous help for staccato playing, but for non legato the sound is cut too abruptly, . Is there is a way to extend the decay in version 3 to make it sound more real ? But definitely sound is excellent a part that

Great demo! You really gave us a good perspective on what this piano can do. The tone and dynamics are very convincing. It's hard for me to evaluate the quality of a virtual piano when someone plays as good as you do. It seems like good playing can make even a mediocre sampled piano sound better. 😀

David B Thanks, i've released this demo, because i think their demos and the first demos on youtube doesn't show the potential of Ivory 3. And their default presets could be better.

At the beginning, with default presets, i was disapointed. And after research and some tweaks, this Ivory 3 is very playable like a real Piano. (and first bugs fix, Ivory support is very fast, they answered me quickly 🙂 )

And I love the staccato release with Yamaha N1X + Ivory 3. I will meka e another audio demos soon with sympathetic resonance. (very real too)

(Sorry for my poor english, i'm french, lol, i will learn…)

Thank you for this impression! Very nicely put together with all the various little excerpts.

The VSTi itself doesn't steal my heart though, somehow. I'd still like the good old American Concert D more, I guess. I don't own that one either, though.

Great job. I love the dynamics. Very accurate and realistic. Can't wait to hear the sympathetic resonance.

Wanted to hear more "wood" in it, but maybe that will happen either with the resonance or with a different soundboard (I'm assuming they used a Steinway?).

Good overall demo songs that show a mixture of soft/dreamy vs. staccato/fast, etc.

Looking forward to hearing more!
