My doctor says not to drink your fruits. Nor your vegetables.
Tomato juice tastes good ... but it's loaded with salt. Not good.
Likewise V-8 "vegetable cocktail". Not good.
Most so-called fruit juices are heavily loaded with added sugar. Not good.
Even those that are truly 100% squeeze-the-fruit-into-the-jar and nothing else ... have too much sugar.
So I stopped drinking orange juice. And tomato juice.
And I long ago stopped the soft drinks.
I guess I should now just drink whiskey. It's good for me, right? Ask my doc!
