In The Netherlands we have a weekly live show "Podium Klassiek", about an hour in the early Sunday evening, which is my absolute-by-far favorite TV hour of the week and the only thing on TV I ever actually do look forward to during each week.
The program is based around classical music but in a very eclectic way, also featuring contemporary composers, jazz, world music, innovative musicians and so on. Each week a "Young Hero" (a remarkable young talented person/music student) is featured for a short interview and a performance. And so on.
Excerpts/segments from recently aired episodes are posted on their YouTube channel, this Skrjabin video is one such segment from one or two Sundays ago.
They have an absolutely splendidly excellent sound team, just as you noticed, and watching Podium Klassiek live on TV through my hifi is succulently lovely.
Cheers and happy Music,
HZ
PS They don't always have the same piano in the studio but more often than not it is this Yamaha. I don't know which exact model it is, but I absolutely love this sound. It has all I'd wish for in a piano's character.
