Whilst in the bookstore the other day, I noticed that Nuts & Volts magazine published an article entitled, "Build the Lambda Harp" by Lawrence Romanoski (January 2022 issue). This DIY MIDI project essentially is a light show.
Perhaps one of the DIY hybrid piano developers at PianoClack might be interested in approaching the magazine to publish an article. The second link is the Writer's Guidelines and may provide proposal information.
The magazine's writing / editing seems relatively informal. So that makes the submission process easier and less stressful IMHO. I envision summarizing blog posts to magazine article format, adding some helpful descriptions, definitions, and images.
Contributors will not make their fortune with Nuts & Volts but will enjoy a level of fame. Publishing is a lot of fun and always shows up as a "dream career" in UK surveys.
One could write the article on his own and/or crowd source some article production here at PianoClack (e.g. article outline, some writing, technical review, grammar review, etc.).
Apparently the magazine publishes 6 times per year. It did not publish in 2021 for the pandemic but already has published 2 issues in 2022.
