Dave welcome. And wow, that's a very nice improvisation. In my jazz days I'd give my left kidney to be able to play like that! I especially love how you're able to improvise over a bass line without chordal comping most of the time which to me is a great difficulty (personally my improvisational thought worked well only when I played chords in my left hand, so that I could hear and see the harmony). But you do great outlining of the implied harmony without resorting to simple arpeggios. Just wonderful! I hope you won't mind if I bring a comparison to Kenny Barron, your playing reminded me a lot of his way of playing, for instance his duets with Stan Getz where on his solos he's on his own with just the piano, so he needs to provide both bass, rhythm, harmony and improvisation.

Hi Drew, I found the Clackster looking for piano forums on the googler) I think all keyboards are good, the electronic world opened up the opportunities to play for millions of people who couldn't afford/fit/'etc an acoustic piano. Many of my students use various keyboards and they love em. For myself my Yammy 6'1 Disklavier works great.
