Melancholy - Original Composition

Hi All,

I am a beginning pianist and hope to inspire other beginners to compose and share their own creations.

The following is my first original composition and was inspired by the loss of my long-time furry friend, Collin. He was a fine companion and worthy member of the cat clan. He is sorely missed.

In the new age style, Melancholy.

I can really appreciate a composition that illustrates what can be done with primary triads mainly like you show here. This thread together with the one on the conflict in Europe right now makes for a rather somber experience, but sometimes one can enjoy that feeling too. (Why do we have to get so damned attach to animals, though😟)

My Theological answer is that animals were created by God with the capacity to love us and minister to our happiness.

In the restoration of all things even wild animals e.g., lions will be like domesticated pets. 😀
