You are asking about a topic which we discussed in another thread a while ago, with lots of information. You newbies of the forums asking always the same questions over and over are really tiresome 🤣 -- don't be lazy and go look it up 😆
Boy, you must be kidding!!! I consider myself fortunate when I can remember 10 minutes (most of the time is about half of that) and my former teacher told me that I was among the best memorizers that she ever taught (and she has a full studio and always had one for decades!)
QuasiUnaFantasia As an aside, this topic just led me to have an epiphany about memorizing.
You have just discovered basic facts about memory. In fact, healthy human memory is astonishing and can remember basically anything. The "forget" problem is recall, which is based on "cues" which are hard to get for things like piano. And occasionally another problem (e.g. for numbers and I suspect for music too) is the confusion about two similar items to remember (or more, perhaps several). Most often, especially for piano, conflicting cues. For more information, really well explained and very practical, buy
