I've just posted additional data for the CNY70 and QRE1113, it's available at https://github.com/davidedelvento/Mybrid/tree/main/data

Ok, the data is poor, but better than nothing and another opportunity to break the build-your-own-piano lull. If anybody thinks that better data would help, I'll be happy to do more work on it! So, just let me know.

Otherwise, I'm busy with life and I'll leave it as is -- and instead invest my time into getting more acquainted with @JayKominek approach which is what I plan to use eventually anyway. Jay, I saw you haven't worked on the repo for about a month, let me know if there is anything I can do to help (e.g. taking a look at the firmware) and/or if I can start ordering some of your parts and mess around with them (or if you think you'll be making many more chances)

PS: especially for the new folks, take a look at https://pianoclack.com/forum/t/diy which have several discussions on topic still worked on, even though no progress is reported more recently

CNY70 note that I probably soldered the wrong resistors making the signal too small for the ADC. Note also that one key is not properly regulated and "blocks" against the sensor (this is due to the much greater thickness of the CNY70 compared to the other sensors I regulated the action and placed the support bar for)

QRE1113 note that neither this nor the previous is battery powered (which is much more cumbersome to operate) so I made my life easier this way. If anybody wants to analyze either data in more detail and is limited by the noise of the power as we discussed in the other thread, I'll be happy to make the effort to collect the data with the battery.

RIP Jay, I saw you haven't worked on the repo for about a month, let me know if there is anything I can do to help (e.g. taking a look at the firmware) and/or if I can start ordering some of your parts and mess around with them (or if you think you'll be making many more chances)

I made a round of revisions to all/most of the PCBs, and I've just been tweaking them and staring at them, waiting to see if I'm inspired to make any further changes. I'll finalize the next revisions real soon now and order a batch. (I asked an artist to come up with some whimsical silkscreen art for the boards, because that sort of thing amuses me. Whenever that comes back, "soon" will have arrived.)

I'm hoping that the changes I made to the ADC board will further improve the signal quality. I didn't want to expend any more effort worrying/mucking about trying to fix hardware problems in software, when I could (attempt to) fix the hardware.

I don't expect to change the interfaces between the sensor boards, ADC boards, and main board, for what that's worth. (Or between the sensor boards and LED power board.)
