Hello fellow clackers,
I have a problem, nonpiano-related, but it might be piano-related when I start recording performances. When I connect to Discord, the website wants to use Analog 1 +2 (Focusrite Usb Audio) as a microphone.
However, there is no microphone connected to my Focusrite 2i4 audio interface. Why is this listed as a microphone then? Is it because I could theoretically connect a microphone to the Focusrite, and then this channel, definition, or whatever it's called, will be used?
I'm a bit reluctant to give Discord access to a device, I'm not even using for Discord. My main microphone is the webcam microphone (it's the only microphone that seems to work for Discord, for some reasons).
Is it OK to disable this device? Would disabling it cause problems when I'm using the Focusrite 2i4, as of now, only to listen to audio, and play with Reaper, testing MIDI files with VSTis, among other things?
