Today, I find myself rather emotional and apprehensive about the war developments. Over morning coffee, I stumbled upon Daria's video and important, touching, daring message (see her video description for that).
To honor her post and the essence of it, to acknowledge her honesty and integrity, I created this thread. I did so in hopes that we, everyone who reads this, would take her message to heart and would really have the courage to let it sink in.
I explicitly did not mean this thread to be about warfare, politics, cynicism, disrespectful jokes.
Of course we're all emotional, shocked and worried about the current developments, whether we acknowledge it to ourselves or not. But please, please, pick up this message, take it to heart, give it the future we all so much and so urgently need and desire.
I dearly hope that all of us have the decency to understand what Daria is saying and likewise the feelings from which I felt the urgency to extend her podium to us here on PianoClack.
It really is more important to let the message sink in in silence than to respond here, and if we do, please adopt my hopes to act, write, and speak with integrity, decency, and from a creative vision on a brighter future.
