So at least my google search for "pianoclack" didn't show any results, not even on duckduckgo which is what I've been using instead of google lately.

I don't know what has to happen to appear in the google search.

MBiG Don't expect things to appear in search engines within hours. First someone needs to mention the new domain somewhere else, so search engines can actually find it and then index it. Beside that the site owner has to use Google's, Bing's and Yandex' webmaster tools to submit the URL for crawling.

BTW, it might have been my mistake about the Google search. I'm new to this and it seems what I've done so far was only validating with Google that I am the owner of pianoclack.com, however I started screwing around with the Google Search Console and there was a section where I could test a subsection of the domain, and so I entered pianoclack.com/forum and the console said something around the lines of "I didn't know about that so far, would you like to index it?" and so I confirmed it and it said Google put it in a prioritized queue for crawling. Hopefully this time it will get indexed.

BTW, I hate Google and I don't use it 🤣 I'm on DudckDuckGo and wondered where to say to DDG to index the PianoClack? Anyone more familiar with that stuff?

DDG as a meta-searchengine uses google among others. So no direct submission, pianoclack is already in the queue.
It's just that people have to search for it…

"Pianoclack" works on DDG now, although it also links to a Turkish site, where the same word (whatever it means in Turkish) appears.

Just installed a "sitemap" extension which will maintain a sitemap.xml and I provided it to Google for easier indexing. Hopefully all is now as expected by Google and we should get served by Google soon! 🙂

Funny thing about pianoclack and Turkish. Although we Bulgarians are neighbors with Turkey and have many borrowed words, PianoClack doesn't sound Turkish to me 😀 When choosing the domain name I was in a hurry because I was more interested in the forums software and the actual IT-stuff, not the name. Unfortunately nothing I came up was available: pianospace, pianoplace... I was desperate and opened a Bulgarian-English dictionary and discovered that "clack" might not be a bad word because it can refer both to a sharp sound, as well as to a loud chatter and I liked it, perfect for pianos and off-topic 🤣Not sure how well it sounds to native speakers though, you let me know. In any case, the domain is paid and all is set-up, so a little too late to change it...

I was curious how you came up with the name. I didn't know about the loud chatter definition, but it makes sense now. I equated the name piano clack with piano noise. Now I see that clack actually has an applicable dual purpose meaning. Clever.

According to Google, PianoClack is a Luxembourgish word. On the other hand, Google has never struck me as an authoritative source. 😁

Google said it has now crawled the forum but hasn't indexed. I guess things are a bit slow. Google also says there are not many links to the forum. The only one it finds is my post on PW. But I posted a YouTube video half an hour ago and there's a link to the forum in the description too, so I tried to force it a little bit 😉
