Ibb123 same problem here with the space constraints 🙂 I love the Kawai Uprights for their warm tone and superior action, currently playing on a K-400 AR2. It's a phenomenal instrument also keeping the price point in mind. If you want the longest possible keystick length on a Kawai Upright, you need to try the K-600, K-800 and when available the MS-134. All three models are based on the same scale design and action size.
If price is not an issue, you should definitely try the Bösendorfer 130 CL. I also liked the Steingräber 138K a lot. You should also try the S&S K132, especially if you can afford a new instrument. On both the Steingräbers and the Steinway upright you get a very nice soft pedal system (Steinway calls it the "Dolce Pedal"). In addition to implementing hammer half-blow it also lowers the whole keyboard by a few millimetres, which allows awesome pianissimo control.
Then have a look at the new Kawai Master Series. It has the unique warm Kawai sound with a lot of refinement like the expensive German & Austrian brands, but at half the price.
