Although I was initially in love with the idea of NV12, the reality has now molded my perception into something more complicated, and I wonder, what the hell were they thinking?
It’s supposed to be the pianist’s piano! A no holds barred, “new standard,” decades-in-the-making, etc, yet the NV10 got a more proper release/event pointing at these very things, whilst the NV12 (right from the beginning) has felt more like a whisper afraid to let itself truly be heard, and why, I ask? Are they afraid of something? Do they really believe that a hacked version of the Moonlight accompanied by some dancers and a DJ conveys a proper message, or does this further reinforce the notion that they are hiding something (it’s not that good an instrument)?
