David B I think the N1X with the speakers sounds better than the soundboard recording in those videos. And, you're not hearing the multichannel audio in these recordings you would hear sitting at the N1X.
+1 With my N1X mixed with a pair of Genelec 8040B, similar to Davidās setup, I can appreciate how good the outcome is, especially with the Bosendorfer Imperial and Bosendorfer Grand, which I hadnāt appreciated much before. The Genelec speakers produce such a clear tone and complemented the N1Xās in-built speakers so perfectly.
When I tried turning off the Genelecs with just the N1X speakers, I could immediately feel the difference. Same with just turning on the Genelecs, which only produce stereo sound and lose the 3D sound effect.
I hope the NV12 can do the same setup without losing its stunning beauty.
