Some people stay awake into the wee hours to maybe see an eclipse only to glimpse overcast rain clouds that many other people are content ( and some discontented š§) to see during normal daylight hours.
Its now 0118 here but 19 minutes ago i saw what i long suspected but have never been up late enough on this night, which is really morning, to confirm, for the Clack, that in fact, at 0159 the clock on this ipad turned over to 0100. Meanwhile, in a far corner from where i sit is fatherās old, dusty vcr, reliably blinking 810 PM ..... not even sure why the darn things still plugged in .... my apolgies, Meghdad š ...... did any of you old timer dpāers have a computer ( fancy time piece, in essence) melt down when your clocks turned over from 2359 to 0000, 1/1/00?
.... about the indignities of this āseasonā that i remember once upon a time did not begin in earnest until after TGD but now begins, on TV, a blink after Halloween is done being sold & advertised for another year ..... and i suspect it may one year soon be moving in on Labor Day ..... i am more conservative than my fellow Pennsylvanian in a bog north of āburgh. I officially retired from shopping season in the early 00ās around the time i began unplugging from the many MSM tethers attached to me only to find out its not as easy as taking the converter box back to the cable tv company with a quick, polite ā thanks, have a nice lifeā. I also see the battery on ipad just turned over to 9 % so i will have to complete my indignities punch line after recharging. The short version is, i hope that if the local Yamaha shop ( the only piano shop in this county) has some actual new products on hand to try before buy, i might make a trip there between now and that big day, but this is a big if, you know .... the hustle, the bustle ..... the canal ... and my still forthcoming view on the indignities therein..... oh, and seasonās greetings, peace and alla that IMHO! ⨠š
