So far, I'm really not liking the VPC1 damper pedal. I've programmed the damper releases (the Vrrrf) sound that the dampers make when they cut off the strings such that when a damper pedal hits CC64=0 the release sound is triggered. Below are my 3 pedals: the first two notes are an on/off switch pedal, the second two notes are my Yamaha modified (with arduino) continuous pedal, and the third two notes are the VPC1 continuous pedal.
You can see that when the VPC1 pedal releases, the midi data is really noisy and somewhere in there is a CC64=0, but not immediately. So when I play my instruments, the VPC1 pedal will not release the note until about 300-500ms after I release the pedal.
