They don't. And they need not. And they should not.

And anyway I don't allow it. I just leave it alone and it runs. And I don't let Microsoft muck about with it. Which is why it continues to run.

Well, there are people that like rounded borders (Win11), others that like squared borders (Win10). What I don't understand is why the developers could not make both styles available for the UI… Then everyone could choose the one they preferred the most…

Because in Windows 12 they will revert to squared borders, and people wouldn't "upgrade", if they already had those under Windows 11.

Well this thread is timely, only just the other day had to go into setting on my PC to find a message saying basically my pc is not good enough for the upgrade. LOL - not bragging or anything but self built gaming beast that soaks up half the National Grid. Works like a well oiled section of MI5. Actually a dream to game on and I would like to say that if MS think this massive beast will not run then I will be first in line to move to Linux - what a bunch of wasters! - next MS will want us all to have a Mac! - and no not a Mac Mac Mac he he

To whom it may concern, the last release of Ubuntu Studio is now live.

It looks like Studio Controls now includes also the audio network settings. No more additional scripts to run.

This means that it is even easier than before to access an optional remote Windows machine running the usual VSTs from the Linux one. The best of both worlds IMHO.

I'm going to test 21.10 soon as I still run 20.04

@Killomiter you could have the fastest computer in the world, but if you don't have a TPM chip you are out! I believe this chip is required to crypt your private data (that the spyware-os collects in background) before your computer send them to their servers. It's essential for your privacy! 😆
