kawafanboi women weren't particularly well educated back then, even the rich ones, so the average variety that beethoven had access for marriage would've been pretty crude. he was in the unique position of seeing the better ones from the upper classes, but they were entirely out of reach.
Has it been confirmed, that “Elise” was a woman?
At some point I heard it was his nephew, or a distant cousin that identified as a horse, so yes, we need to do more digging on “Elise.”
I, for one, agree with you on the notion that these musicians were very good at one thing, music, but completely out of sorts for everything else (and I’m talking about the most mundane & trivial things, like, for example, frying an egg 🍳)…..
Beethoven was notorious for not even flushing after “having a’ go,” and his servants never lasted longer than a week, because, it is said, he never bathed….
I don’t mean to tarnish the image that some of you have about the likes of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, etc.. but yes, these musicians were obsessively good at one thing, music, yet not so much at everything else (and that includes relations with girls, money, and/or flushing after having a go)……🤭
