They didn’t have it unfortunately but will look🙂. Tried the Roland gp-6 which I hated, the Kawai ca901 which I loved, Kawai Novus5s which - I preferred the CA901 over it by miles to be honest? The Yamaha - liked it but the sound and feel to me was off in some way. Line-out and recorded feel. Something about the response time? Not sure. Also very heavy. So I’m down to CA901 and LX9! Ca901 sounds best but LX9 is to me cool and satisfying in both sound and looks so I’ll probably get that one. I feel I’ll play it more. CA901 design unfortunately reminds me of my childhood school teacher Helga. She played angrily every morning at the schools morning assembly. And I can’t help getting that sour school teacher or school piano vibe when I look at it unfortunately.
It’s a fantastic digital piano though. But the LX9 was for me more fun. And almost as nice sounding to my taste (allthough not on Youtube) . And I was biased towards Roland in terms of digital pianos. The Roland digitals in the 90s were traumatizingly terrible for classical. Remember when I was forced to play a sonata in front of the class, and the teacher had three Rolands with no pedals. What a horror.🤣
Never tried a digital since that day until I began checking them out 2 weeks ago because I want to return to piano playing. But an accoustic in my flat is a nogo. So: digital piano here we go!🛫 will see what I end up with. The Monolith, or Helga. Maybe Helga can be a great companion.
