I hoped that when switching to the new lossless compressed samples, my earlier criticism was taken seriously. Unfortunately not. Why don't they listen to professional classical pianists?

For the second accompanying chord, you would leave the sustain pedal down. But then other samples are played, namely those with the sustain pedal pressed. And these are louder than the samples without the sustain pedal at the same velocity level. It is clear that it sounds a bit fuller with the sustain pedal, as all the strings vibrate. But the effect is massively exaggerated. Presumed reason: They forgot that the keys are a bit easier to move if the damper does not have to be raised by the force of the finger when the sustain pedal is pressed (since it is already up). The robot finger should have taken this into account.

There are also more serious defects. It is incomprehensible that sampling of the black keys is still not used these days! This is proven by identical noise on neighboring keys and by the library being too small per microphone. In addition, most of the high notes are jarring.
Since this is still by far the best library, there is no escape to the competition.
Ich habe gehofft, dass man bei der Umstellung auf die neuen verlustlos-komprimierten Samples meine frühere Kritik ernst genommen hat. Leider nein. Warum hört man ausgerechnet auf professionelle klassische Pianisten nicht?
Hier 2 Samples zur Illustration.
Beim jeweils zweiten Begleitakkord würde man das Haltepedal unten lassen. Dann werden aber andere Samples gespielt, nämlich die mit gedrücktem Haltepedal. Und diese sind bei gleichem Velocity-Level lauter als die Samples ohne Haltepedal. Es ist klar, dass es mit Haltepedal ein bisschen voller klingt, da alle Saiten mitschwingen. Der Effekt ist aber masslos übertrieben. Mutmasslicher Grund: Man hat vergessen, dass die Tasten etwas leichtgängiger sind, wenn der Dämpfer bei gedrücktem Haltepedal nicht durch die Kraft des Fingers angehoben werden muss (da er ja bereits oben ist). Der Roboter-Finger hätte das berücksichtigen müssen.

Darüber hinaus gibt es noch mehr gravierende Mängel. So ist es unverständlich, dass man heutzutage noch auf das Sampling der schwarzen Tasten verzichtet! Zu beweisen durch identische Störgeräusche bei benachbarten Tasten und durch die zu geringe Grösse der Library pro Mikrophon. Ausserdem klirren die meisten hohen Töne.
Da dies trotzdem mit Abstand die beste Library ist, kann man auch nicht zur Konkurrenz flüchten.
