I know Pianoteq is not loved around here (even I, I am fascinated by it, but don't like the somewhat sterile sound), but I just found an easy way to run full-fledged Linux on Android and then it becomes obvious: then Pianoteq should run fine there!! Earlier than Apple 😀
I'll try it next time I'll be waiting in line somewhere with a WiFi. But if anyone else is more in a hurry or explorative mode, here it is: https://www.techradar.com/how-to/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/how-to-install-linux-on-an-android-phone-1322579
Well, maybe, we need to see if MIDI gets correctly routed from the Android USB subsystem to the Linux instance, and even if it does, is the latency acceptable? And we need to answer the same question with the audio subsystem on the way out. And those are two big IFs in addition to the obvious "are the CPUs fast enough?"
So sorry for the somewhat misleading title, perhaps somebody with a PT account could link this post from their forum? You know, links are a good way to grow the relevance score for a newly born site such as ours…
