David B The Hoenymooners was before my time,
Brings back memories anytime i find out that an old-timer has died.
Honeymooners was produced only a year or 3 prior to my arrival here on the physical plane BUT the first “television set”was not brought into our home until 1963 . Ralph was too bombastic for my likes but Art made me laugh, and i was always on the lookout to witness Alice & Trixie going BANG-Zoom to the moon!.
As a preamble to my SoFlo years, i stayed at the Inverrary Hotel during my visit for job interview in early 87’. After moving there (to Sunrise) in April, i got to play golf at Inverrary ….. where i heard tell that Jackie lived there. I never glimpsed him, but i did see ( and smell ) a proud peacock that lived on the grounds there. Jackie died that Summer. By then, i had grown to like the comedy of another character he inhabited; one Buford T Justice.
RIP Trixie 😇
