Mariah is known for her huge range, but I’m most impressed (in this song) by the introduction; where she sings “all I want….” (right before the ‘full’ band comes in).
There’s a gospel, sadness/lament to the way she sings those three words (“all I want”) that truly gives me goosebumps!
