I recently got a new Mac Mini M2 and have been transferring all my piano VSTs to the new machine.
According to the Garritan website, the old CFX player is not compatible with the new Silicon-based Macs, and you need to use the Aria player if you want to play the CFX on newer machines. So I installed the Aria player and downloaded the instrument files and it works fine except for one glaring issue.
For whatever reason, I cannot get the una corda or sostenuto pedals to work with the new player. The sustain pedal works fine, but the other two have absolutely no effect when I press on them.
They are assigned to the typical midi channels (66 & 67), and work fine with every other VST player I have (VSL Synchron, Kontakt, UVI, Pianoteq, etc.), so this problem is unique to the CFX on the Aria player.
Has anyone else has experienced this issue? If so, were you able to find a solution? I was thinking that maybe the Aria player just assigns the una corda and sostenuto pedals to different midi channels, however I've gone into the settings and there doesn't appear to be an area where you can reassign them, so I'm a bit stumped.
