What is the best reverb VST for Sofia's pianos?

Please let me know before the Black Friday sales end. I especially want to know what is the best reverb for the CV Grand Piano. I want to know what's affordable, but also what you think is best. I only have a few freebies myself.

vagfilm You may want to check Cantabile Lite (it is free)... It is a sort of vst host that is more straight forward to use than a DAW for simple tasks (ie, if there is no need for tracks, recording, channel sends, etc...). Just daisy chain the plug-ins and save the template for automatic load...

Nice. It is indeed quite simple, and it works just fine with sforzando and the Sofia pianos.

Now I just need to find some plugins.

Valhalla VintageVerb, I like the large screen and the many presets. I like that I don't have to register my email address. I can try it easily. I also downloaded the free Valhalla Super Massive. There doesn't seem to be a Black Friday sale, so on the other hand, there is no need to rush.

Two reverbs for piano I can recommend are:

Seventh Heaven from LiquidSonics - great Bricasti M7 simulation.
Spaces II from EastWest - one of the top convolution reverbs. If you want to place the piano in a realistic space, it's just amazing.

Both can be tried for free I believe. 7th Heaven can be had for around 50$ while Spaces is quite expensive. If you want any examples I can record some and post here.

If you want something free, MConvolution from MFreeFXBundle is quite nice.

I just got EastWest Spaces II for the same purpose (for Sofia's pianos, in conjunction with Pianoteq providing sympathetic resonance, so it needs to be an external reverb and not the Sforzando internal reverb). Plugindiscounts.com has it at $105 for Black Friday (normally $300).

I got OrilRiver reverb. It works, but I've not given it a thorough workout yet. But it's free, so …

I also downloaded a bunch of other freebie reverb plugins: DReverb, Dragonfly, MVerb, Panagement, Riviera, Sanford, Tal Reverb, and Voxengo Old Skool Verb. So if Oril River doesn't satisfy I'll try one or more of these others.

Free is good. 😀
