Greetings~
As many people I am looking for advise which digital piano to pick. Firstly, I am not a professional player in my 25-th year and I am not planning to become one. However I have always been fan of piano music, and can play 15-20 basic-intermediate songs. Currently I don't own any, but I am thinking to buy myself a digital one, since it is necessary to be able to practice/play at night.
I am living in CIS region and the market in my city is only limited to following models:
Yamaha YDP-145 ($ 1413 )
Yamaha YDP-165 ($ 1772)
Yamaha YDPS-55B ($ 1634)
Casio PX-770 ($ 1023)
Casio PX-870 ($ 1137)
Casio AP-270/470/710 (Price starts at $ 1310 up to $ 2046 for 710) + Stool as a bundle gift
I have always been thinking that Yamaha's sound quality is way better than Casio's, but by searching some reviews I have heard that recently Casio seems to be a fine and solid pick as well, as some models produce even more natural sound than Yamaha.
My main question is: Is it better to overpay and get YAMAHA's DP instead of Casio's? Or all Privia/Celviano lineup models are good to pick?
Currently I was thinking to get PX-870 as the best "Overall", out of this list.
My main priorities in picking are:
Sound quality (Unfortunately shop owner does not allow customers to play the product(it is kept boxed), which is typical for unofficial retailers in my country).
Keys overall feeling (I really liked the felling of some Yamaha's Grand Piano, which I got opportunity to play on vacation 2 years ago. I know that for this price range none of them is close enough to imitate real acoustic keys feeling, but perhaps some of these models is closer than others?)
Durability (Due to the lack of service centers of both brands, it would be great to pickup a model that will last 5-7 years at least)
