Khuja Wangtishvili the Italians in that forum seem to be very nihilistic and they often suggest how Italians are jealous, ill-mannered, etc. I guess they don’t know Eastern Europeans 😀

As to Alfa Romeo owners, they are all people who love the brand and I haven’t heard them complaining regarding problems, even if there are some, they always praise their cars 😉 This is my first Alfa and I love it, no problems so far, feels and drives premium. Other Alfa drivers on the road greet each other which is something new to me, it’s like a small society since the brand is not very popular in Bulgaria. After owning two Japanese cars that had a lot of mechanical problems and then three SEAT cars (a Spanish brand, for our US friends) that were faultless, although everyone said they are one of the most unreliable cars, I think it’s all prejudice.

The Japanese had a tough time producing cars for European markets.

SEAT has been owned by VW for a long time and had lots of VW parts prior to that via tie-ups. Previously, SEAT was associated with FIAT. Some of those FIAT derivatives were bullet proof (e.g. 600 and 131). I owned a SEAT and it was a reliable economy car.

n-player Indeed, my three SEAT cars have all been very reliable. They were the better looking cars on the platforms that were shared between VW, Skoda and SEAT and at least here in Bulgaria were the cheapest. I'm using past simple tense since SEAT as a brand will soon be defunct. VAG Group decided that SEAT will transform into a new brand called Cupra which are known as the high-performance models in the SEAT range. They will now develop their own performance/style oriented cars that will not be based on any existing other cars from the VAG group. However I'm reading that their first such car, the Formentor, has serious issues and reliability problems, apparently developing your own car without prior experience is tricky. I almost ordered a Formentor but after reading on the German Formentor forum (with an automatic-translation) I was shocked how many people, maybe close to 100% had various problems and many of them were not sure if they will purchase a Cupra again... Which is why I thought: if I'm buying an Alfa Romeo wannabe, then maybe I should just buy a real Alfa Romeo 😀 Everybody says how Alfa are unreliable, etc., so I am starting with very low expectations. But so far all is great.

Translators used to be bad. Then they got better and better. At some point they were wonderful, but now apparently AI is used for translation and AI has the ability to glitch and fantasize. Yandex browser does voice translation of videos and it's amazing! But he once glitched so funny:

Translation: happy but not too happy!

Yes, I know the “translator” defines allegro as “brisk, quickly, spirited,” etc, but that definition is even more ambiguous than happy.

And why do I have to say “presto, Sam,” instead of ‘play it faster, Sam’? Why?

Actually "happy" is better than "brisk" for allegro in Italian, kudos to you. Since I'm nitpicker though, I'd have to say that the more strict/accurate translation is "Happy but not too much"
