Mac has now enlisted in The Knights Who Say Knee. (Forgive the spelling.)

This morning I had a total replacement of the left knee. That knee had completely eroded ... no more cartilage. Painful.
So today was chop chop chop.
Lots of pain afterward, but not as bad as I had expected. And when I dropped an oxycodone a couple of hours ago the pain dropped to a truly tolerable level.
No running and jumping yet. Recovery takes around two months.
So I'll be spending a lot of time on my butt ... which I was already doing too much of because of the joint pain.
But that means more time in front of the piano ... something I've been neglecting for too long.
Side note: The hospital has a Yamaha baby grand in the waiting area.
Alas ... it's for people in waiting, not for MacMacMac going under the knife! 😦
I expect that by year's end I'll be walking as much as I want, and I'll even be getting on the bike again.
And able to spend a week site-seeing in New York.
And spending time in the mountains (where I've discovered the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania ... can you believe it?).
