OK. So I have my first recoring attemps, which finally get me satisfactory results. My setup is:
- Piano - Petrof 115 from 1987
- Audient ID22 (paid 70 euros incl. transportation, had luck in used one)
- Thomann SC140 mic pair
- Mogami / Neutrik cables.
This is how is sounds. Mics are placed closed to the strings in bottom part of the piano. The reason for that is, that I want completely hidden recoring set-up, as piano is in my living room, and I want it to be permamemnt, therefore I assume some compromises on sound quality will happen. I will have to try also mics placed at the bottom of the piano. At the end I want only to plug in my computer to the USB plug mounted under the keyboard and record 🙂
I am waiting for any thoughts what I can make better here, to make it sound good. BTW it sounds much better through the Audient than my laptop.
And I sometimes wonder whether this whole set-up is really better than solid USB mic like Bue Yeti, as my piano is what is it is, and maybe it makes no sense to have complicated set-up, as I sometimes have doubts whether just phone recording does not sound similar lol.
there is few seconds of silence at the beginning, like 5-8.
