Looks like Pete14 isn't banned on PW anymore:

FWIW to any here wondering about our friend Pete14, following on the logic of whether or not he has ready access to seeing any of the many of our figurative SOPS - Save Our Pete14-less Souls - i can assure you one or more of us have sent him a PWPM. Others have already speculated he could not ( initially ) and may not (recently ) have logged onto PW and read PMs, so how about a new PW thread to further the odds? It stands to reason that if Pete has done any reading at PW since his perma-ban (apparently undone recently) he’s likely read the “heads up banned members” thread in which CG announced the thoughtful rationale behind forming this new PC forum.

If the days continue to pass sans Pete14, we may need to consider that this is his desire for now.

I'm delighted, though, that Pete14 has been un-banned.

MMMm, IIRC I saw the same thing that you copied the screenshot when he was banned. How do you say he isn't banned?

Notice the "last time seen" which is the day he was banned.

When a person is banned, it's showing a text on the profile screen "This user has been banned!"

Can you make an exception, go online to send Pete14 a PM, post a nice goodbye to the mods, and then shut the door and throw away the key?

I am saying this because he may not be logginf on, but may be lurking. If he does not log in, he will not be notified of the PM.

However a thread or post from Mac will catch his attention and maybe lure him to login…

Or the PW admins are also reading here at PC and know that we would like to contact Pete14.

A) they are nice and have therefore made an exception so that we can contact Pete14.

B) it's just a fake and the PW admins are sitting back amused and enjoying the progress of the show here at PC. (Then hopefully they will be ants in their next life....😂)

I'm wondering if Pete is the alter ego of another forum regular. Judging by his well crafted online persona (he's on medication, the van down by the river, etc...) and very specific responses that are never really revealing who's behind but serve only to introduce his specific sense of humor, I would guess it might be the alter ego of a forum member who is known for serious and withdrawn demeanor and cannot afford to joke that way. Kawai James? 🤣

That's funny because it's such a contrast to Kawai James. That would be hilarious if James and Pete were the same. 😀

I contacted one of them, for the other I posted out-of-PW ways to reach them. Use your email if you are close to them. I won't because it'd be coming out of the blue since we seldom interacted. I contacted several others (not in this list) with whom I was in "close relationship".

Regarding KJ, I think it's fine inviting him, but I doubt he'll show up until we have a critical mass of people bashing or praising Kawai pianos. As far as I can tell he is not even in https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?board=5.0 where he should….
